If you can't afford rent or groceries, blame the Bank of Canada, says Unifor president Lana Payne
Provincial and federal governments in Canada are taking a lot of heat from voters about the cost of living. People who struggle with rising monthly bills tend to blame those they elected. But the problem actually goes a lot higher...right up to the Bank of Canada. Lana Payne is president of Unifor, the country's largest private sector union, which has been lobbying for interest rate cuts for months. She spoke with the CBC's Leigh Anne Power.
