Today the catechumens underwent rites that are retained in our traditional form of Baptism today, the placing of salt in their mouths and the "ear-opener", the teaching of the Creed and Our Father, three exorcisms. We hear the first of these exorcisms, which had different introductions for men and for women. Yes, they thought that there were two sexes and that men and women weren't the same.
