HSK Student Pod - Episode 3

HSK student pod was created for all students in the School of Health and Social Work. This is a podcast series which covers a range of topics including keeping you up to date on what is going on in the school, useful tips and advice for getting ahead with your studies, and some special interest items with guest speakers. What’s in Episode 3? Julie Vuolo, HSK Associate Dean, gives some general news & updates about the school - Timetabling and accommodation issues. Student spotlight: Lewis Nevard, a third-year Mental health Nursing student, talks about his fantastic elective experience at Broadmoor hospital, a high-security psychiatric hospital, the best known and oldest of the three high-security psychiatric hospitals in England. Valarie Brossier, from the HSK Academic study skills unit, talks about academic skills advice in the school. This month's profession spotlight: Janet Migliozzi, from the Adult nursing team, gives an amazing talk about Influenza and some of the measures we can take to minimise illness.
