UNC's RJ Davis NOT on NBA Draft Early Entry List! | Cliff Omoruyi IS still visiting Chapel Hill

NOTE: THIS EPISODE WAS RECORDED BEFORE RJ DAVIS' MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT ANNOUNCEMENT THAT HE'S RETURNING FOR HIS FIFTH YEAR.

The NBA Draft Early Entry list came out on Tuesday and while it’s interesting to look at the names on it; it’s equally as intriguing to see what names are NOT on the list. This year that included RJ Davis and Adou Thiero. Davis’ absence is further confirmation of his return to Chapel Hill (although it’s still yet to be reported by he or the UNC). Thiero’s absence is notable because the prevailing understanding was that Carolina would have to wait until the Kentucky transfer went through the NBA Draft Process.

Carolina’s search for a big man appears to fully centered on Rutgers transfer Cliff Omoruyi, who has been visiting Alabama early this week. There was fear that the Tide would lock up his commitment and Omoruyi would never visit Chapel Hill. However, the good news is that Omoruyi will indeed take his trip to Carolina, and confirmed that it will be his final visit.
