David Henzel, a seasoned serial entrepreneur with numerous successful ventures over the past 20 years, is the CEO of UpCoach. He has lived in various locations, including Los Angeles and Bodrum, Turkey, driven by family ties and personal reasons.
His entrepreneurial journey began with local server maintenance before venturing into e-commerce, where he had an exit and eventually moved to the U.S. on an investor visa.
There, he co-founded MaxCDN, a content delivery network that he later sold.
David then applied his business principles to developing a coaching software named Coach, initially used internally for managing happiness and later commercialized as a SaaS platform. He also co-founded Task Drive, which pivoted from sales development to AI-powered virtual assistants, providing personalized customer services.
Additionally, David runs Shortlist, an SEO and web design agency that primarily services other agencies through white labeling.
In this interview, David taps into the underserved market of immigrant business narratives, emphasizing the importance of alignment with market needs and customer understanding. Through his businesses, David promotes the concept of conscious capitalism, focusing on creating a positive workplace culture and impactful entrepreneurial practices.
