Pacers Demolished by Bucks. Dustin Dopirak, Christie Sides, Beau Estes Join!
(00:00-30:23) – Query & Company opens on a Wednesday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison wondering what the heck happened last night in Milwaukee for the Indiana Pacers. Jake and Jimmy are frustrated with the selfless nature of Tyrese Haliburton instead of trying to take the game over after realizing the other players didn’t have it last night. They also question what is going on with Pascal Siakam right now after three consistent dud offensive scoring performances.
(30:23-50:30) – The guys come back from break with the phone lines full of listeners looking to share their opinions on the game and share some positivity. Jake asked each called to share something they were thankful for when they woke up this morning to break up the negativity.
(50:30-53:08) – Hour one concludes with Jake and Jimmy taking one more call and discussing the month of May.
(53:08-1:22:09) – Indiana Pacers beat reporter, Dustin Dopirak, from the Indianapolis Star joins Query & Company from Milwaukee to share his thoughts on the disappointing loss by the Pacers last night. He weighs in on Jimmy’s point that this team could be too selfless at times, tries to explain what’s going on with Pascal Siakam the last three games, weighs in on whether Giannis or Lillard will return for game six, and assesses if game six can be classified as a must win game for Indiana.
(1:22:09-1:37:22) – Following their conversation with Dustin Dopirak, Jake and Jimmy take a step back and look at the rest of the NBA Playoffs. They discuss the crazy ending between the Knicks/76ers and how the Cavaliers/Magic series has been forgotten about.

(1:41:37-2:10:35) – NBA.com’s Beau Estes joins Query & Company to give his national perspective on the Pacers/Bucks series, states that the Pacers are playing with fire right now after last night’s loss to Milwaukee, shares some notes he came across when examining the return of Giannis and Lillard, weighs in on the passive nature of Tyrese Haliburton in connection to playoff basketball, believes the Pacers might need a guy that brings a little fire to provide energy on a night where the team needs a jolt, and debates if we are seeing the torch change from LeBron James, Kevin Durant, etc. to Anthony Edwards, Nikola Jokic, etc.
(2:10:35-2:26:39) – Indiana Fever Head Coach Christie Sides joins the program to preview the start of the upcoming season with training camp underway. The conversation starts with discussing how Caitlin Clark’s passing gets her teammates excited, explains how establishing a dominant interior game to open three-point shooting for Clark, shares how excited she is for Aliyah Boston this season with the work she’s put it this offseason, and reveals something she loves about Caitlin Clark already.
(2:26:39-2:35:31) – Today’s show ends with Jimmy sharing his JCook Plays of the Day, Eddie sharing a bet he likes, and JMV joining the guys in studio!
