Joseph Roudez III is the Mayor of the Village of University Park. Mayor Roudez has been a stalwart in the University Park community for more than twenty years. As a prominent leader in the African American community, he began his service in public life in 2005 when he was elected to the University Park Board of Trustees. As a Trustee for the Village, Roudez worked tirelessly to develop his talent as an economic developer and public servant. With an undeniable instinct about people management, over the years he used his experiences as a football coach and public speaking to motivate community improvement and to serve the people of University Park. Roudez’s laser-like focus on his work resulted in a victorious 2019 mayoral campaign where his background as a community organizer and union advocate was employed
