- Before you run to medicine, check these first: (List of questions from Jennie’s primary care doctor, who will ask these questions before prescribing medication:)
- Are you moving your body every day? (Produces serotonin)
- Are you sharing what is difficult with friends and family? (Heals neural pathways)
- How much alcohol are you drinking? (Depletes dopamine)
- Are you eating a balanced diet? (Affects every bodily function we have and therefore our emotional life)
- Are you spending time with Jesus? (Yes, she asks that of patients who are people of faith, because she knows that a connection with Jesus is healing in ways nothing else can be.)
