The 2024-2025 Waterfowl dates for Ohio are confirmed and in! No Earth shattering news here but the second split for the north zone got pushed back a week..... kinda lack luster.
However, this made me dig into low duck numbers we have experienced this year.
I personally did think it was the weather and the fact that winter is coming later. I could be wrong and a big change to duck numbers could be a 3 year drought happening in the Mississippi flyways nesting grounds. I found it extremely interesting and will post the links to the articles I read below!
