Oxford Community Church Podcast
Religion & Spirituality:Christianity
Everyone is welcome - and church members are especially encouraged to prioritise these events - to come along to the first of a pair of vision evenings, each looking at a range of topics about church life.
In this first vision evening we will talk and pray together about our (a) vision for Boundless Renewal, (b) renewing our Community Groups, and (c) how OCC is becoming more intercultural. And we will also celebrate the church's birthday with hot drinks and cake!
On the second vision evening in March we will take the whole evening exploring (d) what God is saying about our city and the Osney Mead development.
Vision evenings (aka Church Family meetings) are times when we gather, as a church family, to hear what God is developing and leading us into, to pray, to seek his guidance and to talk together. In Malachi 3 we read "those who feared the LORD talked with each other, and the LORD listened and heard." In Acts 13 we read of guidance and commissioning new work coming from a time of prayer and worship. In Acts 15 we read that after a debate, they reached a conclusion which "seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us". We believe God speaks and leads us as we gather together. Please join us for this important aspect of our life together as a church.
Please arrive for a prompt 7.45pm start.
