The handling grief process:
First, pause....create safety for yourself.
STEP 1: Acknowledge and validate what you're feeling.
STEP 2: Normalize what you're feeling. "Why would it be really normal that I'm feeling this way?"
STEP 3: Give yourself PERMISSION to feel.
Next best thought / action: How can I deliberately make time to feel my sadness?
Allow yourself time to process.
