What Did Diddy Do?

A video was recently leaked to US news service CNN of a man in a towel assaulting his girlfriend in a hotel hallway in 2016. 

That man is Sean Combs, aka P.Diddy, now known as just Diddy. And the woman he was assaulting was his girlfriend at the time, RnB singer Cassie. 

So what happens now that we have actual video evidence of this? And what do we make of the apology video that followed?
