This morning we appreciate today's date on the Jewish Calendar, 14 Iyar, which is Pesach Sheni - an opportunity, in very limited circumstances, for someone who was exempt from offering the Korban Pesach (Paschal Offering) at the right time to do it a month later. We explain this is not a general promise of always having a second chance; sometimes we do, but sometimes we don't. Rather, the significance of this day is to elevate us by the attitude of those seeking this day, to not only do Mitzvot, but to love doing them, and feel we are missing out even when we are legitimately exempt.
