Rashada Goes Scorched Earth on UF, NCAA Class Action Roundup, Scheffler Jumpsuit, Fanatics-v-Harrison, & LaMelo Lawsuit
On this episode of Conduct Detrimental: THE Sports Law Podcast, Dan Lust (@SportsLawLust) and Zach Bryson (@ZacharySBryson) are joined by special guest Sam Ehrlich (@samcehrlich) to bring you updates on all things Sports Law.
Dan, Sam, and Zach dive deep into the newest developments in the House v. NCAA class action lawsuit, as the Big 12 and the ACC have voted to approve a proposed settlement offer. While nothing has been finalized, Sam discusses the implications that this potential settlement could have for college sports going forward.
The trio then turn to the developments in the Jaylen Rashadas NIL lawsuit, as new information about the alleged events have come to light.
The team also touch on the Scottie Scheffler arrest, the recently filed lawsuit by Fanatics alleging Marvin Harrison Jr. violated a contract between the two, as well as a personal injury suit brought against Lamelo Ball for allegedly running over the foot of a 11-year-old fan.
All this and more on another episode of........Conduct Detrimental.
