History
In this episode of A Salute to the Law, legendary private detective Nick Harris introduces the story of a solved Memorial Day mystery where a police captain in an Eastern City, captures a man and finds out why, every Memorial Day, he breaks into a flower shop and steals all the lilies of the Valley in the store. The Captain learns the story of what's behind the theft and how it plays into the country's still-conflicted feelings about America's involvement in World War I.
