This morning we discuss the fascinating, painful, traumatic article by Jo Becker and Adam Sella in The New York Times about Dr. Yuval Bitton, who saved the life of Yahya Sinwar when Sinwar was a prisoner in an Israeli prison in 2004, and the continuation of their saga on October 7, 2023. You may find this inspiring, despicable, or both. Michael Whitman is the senior rabbi of ADATH Congregation in Hampstead, Quebec, and an adjunct professor at McGill University Faculty of Law.
