This week, we're back to cover a war story, but it's my kind of war story. The kind where nothing goes right, there's no heroism, and hundreds end up dead. This is the story of Operation Tiger, a practice run of the D-Day landings during WW2, and this disaster damn near blew the whole plan a month before the big show. We also have a guest host covering for Gina for this episode, so please welcome Bill Selby from Crimes, Killers, Cults and Beer as we talk about bad plans, terrible communication, getting shot at, fight, flight or freeze, and why warships named after flowers is always a bad idea.
