Penn State football gets top 2025 California DB to commit, while losing an in-state legacy prospect

Penn State football recruiting has been on somewhat of a roller coaster this week. Locked On Nittany Lions host Zach Seyko welcomes back Brian Smith, the recruiting expert for Locked On, to break down Penn State's most recent commitment in defensive back Daryus Dixson. Dixson is a four-star cornerback in the class of 2025 and hails from California. While Penn State boosted its future secondary, James Franklin and company missed out on Pennsylvania legacy prospect Michael Carroll. Carroll wound up committing to Alabama.
