Over 13,000 Pages And He Quit Counting. New Research Facility Now On The Way
13,000 pages, and he quit counting. There must have been times when Dr. Dennis Hancock, current director of the U.S. Dairy Forage Research Facility in Prairie du Sac, questioned whether the dream would become a reality. Well, on Monday, June 10th, ground was officially broken to begin the project.
Hancock traced the history of the project dating back to former Wisconsin Senator, Herb Kohl. He also explains the unique functions that the multi-faceted center will offer not just Wisconsin's dairy industry, but the world.
Hancock hopes that the facility will be finished an open to the public by some time in 2027.
