AARP Helping Veterans, Their Families And Care Givers - Stu Martell
AARP has a long history of supporting those who have served in the United States armed forces. Stu Martell is a Madison native who served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Once his service was complete, Stu entered the private sector and didn't spend a lot of time looking back.
Today, Martell is an active volunteer with AARP of Wisconsin. He enjoys the camaraderie and events that AARP provides, and now he's finding new purpose connecting veterans to services AARP offers.
He shares his story with Pam Jahnke.
AARP's veterans initiative supports retired and active-duty military and their families across the nation with FREE valuable resources, including: military caregiving support, fraud protection through AARP’s Veterans Fraud Center, FREE professional training courses and job search assistance via our Veterans & Military Spouses Job Center, and access to service benefits like healthcare and housing. All of these resources are on our website at aarp.org/veterans.
