(00:00-27:33) – Query & Company opens on a Wednesday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison discussing the Hunter Greene situation last night where he threw up on the mound for the Cincinnati Reds. Additionally, they start discussing tonight’s NBA Draft pertaining to expectations for the Indiana Pacers and Zach Edey.
(25:18-43:49) – Yesterday there was some drama from Bloomington with Mike Woodson telling Hoosier Hysterics that they are no longer partners. Jake provides some details from the story that he’s discovered within the last 24 hours. It leads to Jake and Jimmy discussing the upcoming season for the Indiana Hoosiers.
(43:49-48:35) – Hour one concludes with Jake and Jimmy discussing the 15-year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death. It leads to Jake trying to remember whom the Indiana Pacers selected in the 2009 NBA Draft being the same night.
(48:35-1:15:22) – The second hour of the program begins with Jake Query & Jimmy Cook submitting their guesses for the two players the Indiana Pacers selected in the 2009 NBA Draft on the same night that Michael Jackson died. They then dive into what type of player that the Indiana Pacers should be looking for this offseason to improve following the move the New York Knicks made last night by acquiring Mikal Bridges.
(1:15:22-1:36:23) – GoldAndBlack.com’s Brian Neubert joins Query & Company to share his beliefs on where Zach Edey will end up in tonight’s NBA Draft. He highlights why he believes Edey could succeed in the NBA, acknowledges the areas in which Edey will need to improve to stay on the court for extended minutes, and explains the entire Kanon Catchings situation from start to finish. Finally, he contributes to the conversation regarding buzz words that we will hear tonight.
(1:36:23-1:38:58) – Jake closes out the second hour of the program by paying tribute to a listener with his mother passing away today.
(1:38:58-2:08:17) – Scott Agness from Fieldhouse Files joins Jake Query & Jimmy Cook ahead of the NBA Draft tonight to express whether or not he believes the Indiana Pacers will make all three picks in the second-round, weighs in on the conversation earlier on what type of player the Pacers need to add to their rotation, and reacts to the trade from last night between the crosstown rivals in the Knicks and Nets.
(2:08:17-2:21:45) – Last night Jake had one of his “brain droppings” and presented the question to Jimmy and Eddie. The three guys get into a debate as to what athlete is unquestionably identified with a specific state no matter whom you ask. The catch is that the athlete must be from that state.
