Understanding the Heart of Immigration, with Empathy

Host Timothy Regan welcomes fellow counselor and healer Orlando Zuniga to apply the essential balm of empathy to our current painful national struggle to address immigration in the United States. We practice our skills and intentions to understand the humanity of people with different perspectives on immigration, from Mr. Trump himself, to the people Orlando has served, who are living the journey of immigration–searching through untold difficulty for a home to belong in, to be safe, healthy, and free. We slow down and listen as we hear stories and respond to them, so that we can come together to create solutions that honor the needs and values of everyone touched by immigration.
