Storms for some, hot as a firecracker for others on the Fourth of July
As is typical for Independence Day, a majority of the nation will be hot. Spotty thunderstorms are also expected, with drenching storms in some locations. Also, Beryl continues to strengthen as it charges toward the Caribbean, becoming the first major hurricane of the 2024 season. AccuWeather meteorologists warn it will remain a Category 4 as it moves through the Lesser Antilles.
