The Kings fans have been very excited the past three days after acquiring DeMar DeRozan. In the euphoria, not many are talking about rookie Devin Carter. Carter needs shoulder surgery. We will have a much better timetable on his return after surgery, but this is far from an ideal situation. Did the Kings know he needed surgery when they drafted him? It doesn't appear so, and Monte McNair better hope he doesn't miss much time!
