The Problem Gambling Foundation says an agreement by SkyCity Auckland to close its casino for five days for failing to meet host responsibility obligations, sends a clear message to the entire gambling industry. The five-day closure, which will happen sometime this year, comes after the Department of Internal Affairs applied to suspend SkyCity's licence for failing to pick up that a particular customer had been playing continuously.
