Can social media be used for social good?

We hear so much about the evils of social media, but is it possible that social media can provide a social good?

Casey Beros started an Instagram account documenting her father's experience with mesothelioma and Daniel Mancuso started Yiayia Next Door with his brother Luke to raise awareness about domestic violence.
