John Lepp is a marketer, designer, and partner at Agents of Good, a fundraising company established in 2009. The collaboration solely focuses on donor love. They work with charities in Canada, the US, and even at international levels.

Who is Agent of Good?

John says that they are basically storytellers. They help organizations that they work with by telling out amazing stories to the donors about the organizations and how they make things work. They focus on making your story compelling and inspiring to the donors.

 

John and his partner also show these organizations how to treat donors respectfully and with love.

Helping Clients

John tells us that an organization hires them depending on their size and what they can afford. Some stay throughout the year while others choose different times. So, John and his team mainly deal with training sessions for the members to teach them how to deal with specific challenges. Then it is up to the organization to apply the skill.

Challenges

John points out that one of the biggest challenges he has encountered in the journey is embracing the notion of being a vulnerable human and understanding that people will judge and others will take advantage of him.

 

Work History

John talks about his previous experience working as a marketing designer for a couple of years. It’s where he got to learn about direct marketing networks and direct responses to people.

 

John also says that Agent of Good has worked with multiple organizations in Ontario.
