Here we go again. Earlier this month, 36-year old Sonya Massey was shot and killed in her home by Sangamom County Sheriff's Deputy Sean Grayson near Springfield, Illinois. Now the white police officer vs supposed black innocent victim dialogue is starting to simmer, and during the summer of an election year. Massey called 911 about a prowler outside. The deputy checked outside, came inside, and a bizarre confrontation took place which escalated to a poor choice of words and ultimately lethal force. The deputy has been cut loose from the county and is facing three counts of first degree murder and other charges. But can the case be as bad as the media, the politicians and protestors say? Or is there another perspective?
Police officer Tyler and former police officer Eric take a look at the case and will talk tactics, what went right and what went wrong in the case. There is no holding up a thin blue line here-- one bad police officer makes us all look bad. But the truth is never what you're told on TV so it's time to find out what the cops think. That is where Failure To Stop comes in.
