VGK draft pick Connelly misses Junior Showcase with injury

VGK's top draft pick Trevor Connelly missed this week's World Junior Summer Showcase with an unknown injury. Connelly, according to FloHockey's Chris Peters, reportedly suffered an injury while training for the NHL Combine. Connelly was also shut down after the first VGK Development Camp scrimmage after reportedly suffering an injury, which has also kept him out of the Summer Showcase, which is an evaluation for the 2025 World Juniors.
