The Huge Show - July 29th - Full Show

Today on the show, we're talking about our Detroit Tigers, the Detroit Lions, Michigan and Michigan State Football, and more as we were joined by some of our great guests. Throughout our entire first hour, we were joined in studio by former Major Leaguer John Vander Wal. During that time, he and Huge gave their thoughts on how the Tigers have been playing lately, they gave their opinions on if the Tigers should trade Tarik Skubal before the trade deadline tomorrow, discussed some of the trades that were made recently, talked about expectations for the rest of the season, and more. We kicked off the second hour talking with Chris Balas from theWolverine.com about Michigan Football. The NCAA said earlier today that they'll be giving Michigan a "notice of allegations" in regards to what happened with Connor Stallions last season. Chris filled us in on everything he's heard about the situation in the past 24 hours. We were then joined by Jim Comparoni from SpartanMag.com to talk some MSU Football. He and Huge talked about their expectations for the team this season, gave their thoughts on if Jonathan Smith and the team can at least get to a Bowl Game, and more. We wrapped up the hour with Anthony Broome from theWolverine.com talking about what he heard from Big Ten Media Days last week. He and Huge also talked about the allegations being handed down from the NCAA. We talked about Detroit Lions Training Camp in our final hour as Marcus Thomas Sr. from Lions Nation Unite joined us. Marcus told us about what he saw at Training Camp earlier today as it's their first day with pads on. He and Huge talked about everything the Lions have done in the off-season, talked about strengths and weaknesses of this team, and more. We were then joined by John Borton from theWolverine.com to talk some more Michigan Football. He gave us his thoughts on the allegations coming from the NCAA, talked about what could come of it, and more. We wrapped up the show with Ben Bosscher from our affiliate 100.9 the Mitt in Midland. Ben was at Detroit Lions Training Camp today, so he filled us in on what that experience was like, talked about some of the things he saw, and more.
