(00:00-28:02) – Query & Company opens on a Wednesday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison discussing Josh Downs getting hurt in practice today because Nick Cross tackled him in a 7-on-7 drill. Also, they discuss Jake manifesting yesterday that the Chicago White Sox would end their 21-game losing streak to the Oakland Athletics.
(28:02-43:28) – NBC Sports Swimming Analyst Rowdy Gaines makes a return to Query & Company to highlight some of the countries that outperformed his expectations, compares Leon Marchand to Michael Phelps with how dominant he was in the pool for France, wholeheartedly believes that Lily King will be competing in the 2028 Olympics with it being held in the United States, and provides what his experience has been like traveling around to different events now that swimming is complete.
(43:28-47:55) – The first hour of the program concludes with Jake, Jimmy, and Eddie sharing whom their high school role model was that helped them get to where they are today.
(47:55-1:16:20) – Independent journalist, David Woods, joins Query & Company to take you through Cole Hocker’s rise to winning the gold medal in the 1500 meter event yesterday, explains how significant it was that Hocker won the event not just for him, but for the entire country, shares what his experience has been like attending various events in the Paris Olympics, and believes that most athletes enjoy the closing ceremonies for the Olympics more than the opening ceremonies.

(1:35:54-2:03:24) – IndyStar’s Joel Erickson joins the program with Jake Query & Jimmy Cook to explain what he witnessed during the incident between Nick Cross and Josh Downs, shares his opinion on whether the starters will be playing at all on Sunday against the Denver Broncos, has a belief that Julian Blackmon could be starting at free safety and they move Ronnie Harrison Jr. to strong safety, and assesses the likelihood of the Colts bringing in a free safety before the start of the season.
