The Huge Show with Jeff Risdon - August 8th - Full Show

Today the show was hosted by the one and only Jeff Risdon from Lions Wire and Draft Wire. Throughout the entire broadcast, Jeff talked about tonight's pre-season game between the Lions and Giants, talked about the storylines surrounding the team this season, and so much more. In our first hour, we were joined by Mike Payton from A to Z Sports so he and Jeff could preview tonight's game. Mike and Jeff talked about the players they'll be keeping their eyes on tonight, gave their thoughts on how Hooker and Bates will play tonight, talked about the recent brawls that have happened, and much more. We kicked off the second hour talking with John Fennelly from Giants Wire so we could get some NY perspective on tonight's pre-season game. Jeff asked John about what we can expect to see from the Giants tonight, they talked about their depth chart and talked about some of the players that will be on the field, they talked about former Lions that are currently on the Giants squad and vice versa, and got John's thoughts on what he'll be looking out for with our Lions. In our final hour, we were joined by Nolan Bianchi from The Detroit News so he and Jeff could talk more about tonight's pre-season game. Nolan has been at the joint-practices all week, so he filled us in on what he saw there, he and Jeff gave their thoughts on who we'll see in the game tonight, talked about the backup QB situation, talked about some of the position battles going on, talked about injuries, and so much more.
