Maryland Governor Wes Moore Tells His Life Story
Maryland Governor Wes Moore sat down with VladTV to discuss his life and political career. As Maryland's first Black governor and only the third Black governor in U.S. history, Moore spoke about the significance of his achievement. He also described growing up in the Bronx and Baltimore, which included a run-in with the law and a period of academic decline. After graduating from the military academy, Governor Moore attended Johns Hopkins University and Oxford before serving in Afghanistan.
