Today we had a fascinating conversation with Dr. Robert Young who is the founder of a website called pH Miracle Living which you should definitely check out.
During the show I also mentioned his Facebook site where he shares daily acid tips and alkaline tips in video format. They're very informative, entertaining, short and fun to watch.
For those that don't know Dr. Robert Young's work is based on the pH of the blood, tissues and organs. If the body, tissues and organs have a proper pH then sickness and disease simply isn't necessary.
He's the author of The pH Miracle: Balance Your Diet, Reclaim Your Health, The pH Miracle for Weight Loss, The pH Miracle for Diabetes, Sick and Tired?: Reclaim Your Inner Terrain, and REVERSE CANCER NOW.
Dr. Robert O. Young is really interesting. He talked about how most of the food we eat should not only be alkaline but liquefied. This means we either need to be using a juicer or blender to blend the foods or making sure we completely masticate and chew our food properly.
He also mentioned that fermented foods are highly toxic because of the fact that they are very acidic. Who knew fermented foods were not good for our health? What do you think? Do you think fermented foods are acidic and dangerous? It's hard to argue with somebody like Dr. Robert Young. But then again we should never argue things, only ask questions and try our best to figure things out for ourselves.
He also argued that we should be drinking pure, ionized alkaline water. Some people like David Wolfe say we should drink spring water and even others say we should drink distilled water. I don't think anybody is lying or purposely not telling the truth, I just think there lots of incredibly talented and smart people out there like Dr. Young and others who happen to have differing opinions about these topics.
For me, I love it. How do we ultimately find the truth? We search things out, study, listen and read but ultimately listen to our own bodies. What Dr. Young is doing is simply amazing. It's hard to argue the success that he's had with terminal cancer patients world wide.
Plus like I said before, why should we spend time arguing? That's no good for our health! I love Dr. Young and what he's up to.
Let's see he also talked a lot about how cancer is an environmental disease of the fluid of the body. Cancer results when the body through it's eliminative organs (skin, liver, colon, kidneys, lungs etc) can't get rid of metabolic acids stored in it.
When the body can't get rid of this acid it has to put it somewhere. Can you say tumor? ;)
Like he said on the show, if a fish is sick, do you treat the fish or treat the water? You treat the water which is the fluid the fish bathes in. Same goes with the cells and tissues of the body. Should we remove the tumor or remove the need for the body to create the tumor?
The latter makes so much more sense.
We also talked about subjects like lactic acid which typically results from people exercising too much. Exercise is a tricky thing because it's so amazing for so many reasons, it's also harmful if you exercise too much. If you workout too hard and too often, you create an excess of lactic acid in the body which plays a significant role in cancer formation and tumor growth. During the show I shared a story of a marathon runner I knew who died of cancer.
I for one love to workout in the gym and I love rebounding. I rebound every single day for 15 minutes and lift weights in the gym for about an hour 3 days per week. Because I do both of these physical activities along with surfing, yoga and walking, I make sure to sit in my FAR Infrared Sauna each day for at least 30 minutes to help remove lactic acid buildup.
