Started babysitting at 8 y/o to help provide for the family.

 

Dishwasher, waitress, hardware store, bartender, golf course

 

Played in the high school state basketball championship 

 

Enlisted in the Army National Guard

 

Recruited to play basketball at West Point

 

Judo National Champion 

 

Semi-finalist Golden Gloves boxing

 

Only woman to go to Field Artillery in USMA Class of 2010

 

First Woman Artillery Cannon Platoon Leader

 

Had great mentors along the way

 

Husband was deployed during birth of first child

 

Army Brigade Operations Officer in an all-male unit working 12-14 hours a day w/a new baby. 

 

Made the decision to breastfeed but it was very difficult to do in the Army.

 

How she handled & approached external failure.

 

Had her second son & went straight into Company Command. Spent lots of time in the field w/little to no control over my schedule.

 

Couldn’t find a solution anywhere, so decided to create one. That was the “birth” of Zanbazan.
