On this episode, Cyrus is joined by the father-son duo Kunal and Zahan Kapoor, trustees of the great Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai. Kunal has had an illustrious career in advertising, and Zahan has solidified himself as a theatre actor. This week, both of them talk about the new and updated Prithvi Theatre, with a new broadcast room for live plays and workshops over the internet, the state of the art equipment they've used, and in some cases, DIY-ed and more, all to support a theatre scene in the city during current times and into the future. Kunal takes us down his journey in advertising, beginning as an actor and moving on to direct and make some huge ads with his firm Adfilm-Valas. Zahan talks about how he fell in love with the theatre, being aware of the legacy he comes from - the Kapoors, what that has come to mean to him, the expectations involved, and how he has tried to forge his own path as a thespian - from starting working at age 15 to moving up in production, and finally becoming a theatre actor. A lot of fun stories and loud laughs on this episode. Do tune in.
