Shaq Leonard to the Browns RUMORS + Deshaun Watson surgery info & what QB is a better bet in future?
Shaq Leonard asked to be released from the Indianapolis Colts and was granted the request on Tuesday.
The former Pro Bowl LB could be an interesting fit for the Browns as a depth piece if he clears waivers.
Deshaun Watson underwent successful shoulder surgery on Tuesday, according to the Cleveland Browns team website. Watson is expected to make a full recovery by the start of the 2024 season.
In his career, Watson has only played in 57% of possible games now, and has only played in 12 of a possible 51 games the last 3 seasons. How much of a concern is that as Watson looks to get back to his previously elite form.
The Broncos have their own highly paid QB on the roster in Russell Wilson, who is playing well in 2023. Take everything into consideration - age, contract, production, health, etc - would you rather have Watson or Wilson moving forward?
Cody Roark from Locked On Broncos joins the show to help us answer that question.
Plus, Jay Stephens from Locked On Buckeyes hops on to preview this weekend's giant Ohio State vs. Michigan showdown.
Lastly, Craig Porter Jr. continues to shine in an extended role for the Cleveland Cavaliers, who beat the 76ers in Philadelphia on Tuesday night to extend its winning streak to four games.
It was okay to be skeptical at first, but it's pretty obvious by now -- CPJ can play.
