En: In a busy corner of the city, there is a small eatery called "Warung Sambal Bundo." This place is famous for its spicy dishes that always tempt passersby. This is where our story begins.
En: One day, Budi, a new student in the city, decided to have lunch at Warung Sambal Bundo. He had heard many stories about how delicious the food there was. The sun was scorching, and Budi slowly made his way to the eatery, wiping sweat off his forehead.
En: Upon arrival, Budi quickly sat at an empty table. Coincidentally, at the next table, there was a girl who was enjoying her meal. The girl's name was Siti. Apparently, Siti was also a fan of spicy food and often had lunch there.
En: Feeling very hungry, Budi promptly ordered rice with spicy fried chicken, which looked tempting. The friendly waitress took Budi's order and quickly went to the kitchen.
En: Before long, the waitress returned with Budi's order. The spicy aroma immediately filled the air as the plate was placed on the table. Budi couldn't wait and immediately took a large piece of chicken and ate it.
Id: Rasa pedas langsung menyengat lidahnya.
En: The spiciness immediately hit his tongue. Budi's face turned red, his eyes watered, and sweat started pouring down even more. Panicked, Budi searched for water on the table. Through eyes blurred with tears, he saw a glass of cold water. Without thinking, Budi grabbed the glass and drank from it.
Wajah Siti menunjukkan raut kaget, tapi tak lama kemudian dia mulai tertawa melihat kebingungan Budi.
En: Only after the cold water soothed his throat did he realize that the glass actually belonged to Siti. Siti's face showed a surprised expression, but shortly after, she started laughing at Budi's confusion.
Id: "Aduh, maafkan aku! Aku tak sengaja minum air kamu!" kata Budi, sambil mengusap keringat dan masih merasakan sisa-sisa rasa pedas.
En: "Oh, I'm sorry! I accidentally drank your water!" said Budi, wiping sweat and still feeling the remnants of spiciness.
Nama saya Siti, kamu?"
En: Siti, with laughter still hanging on her lips, said, "It's okay, I understand. The food here is incredibly spicy. My name is Siti, what's yours?"
Id: "Budi."
En: "Budi," he said, reaching out his hand to introduce himself. "Besides, it seems like I really need a friend who can teach me how to handle the spicy food here."
En: They laughed together, and from that moment on, Budi and Siti became friends who often had lunch together at Warung Sambal Bundo. Budi became more careful when choosing the spiciness level, and Siti always made sure to have an extra glass of cold water for Budi.
En: The incredibly spicy lunch not only left a taste on Budi's tongue, but also left him with a sweet memory of a newly formed friendship in a small eatery in the corner of the city.
