Matthews town officials are unhappy with the proposed transit plan, which includes a tax hike to fund bus and rail projects. They are particularly displeased with receiving buses instead of the desired light rail improvements.
Later in the Show Jensen interviews Daniel Redford, President of the Charlotte FOP, to understand why certain candidates received endorsements and why others did not. Redford explains that candidates who did not respond to the FOP’s questionnaire or missed deadlines were not considered for endorsement. He also addresses questions about specific endorsements, including those for Krista Bakari and Woodson Bradley, and explains the reasons behind these decisions.
