Mike told me about his path to the role of hostage negotiator within the NYPD, the ins and outs of the job as well as the skills required in a good negotiator. He shared with us the story of his own experience getting taken hostage in a police station for over 4 hours in 2002, some of his most memorable negotiations and the stress that comes w/ such extreme moments.
