CPI for July 2024

The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) increased 0.2 per cent on a seasonally adjusted basis, after declining 0.1 per cent in June, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. CPI is one of the many important metrics Federal Reserve Board will be looking into when they make a decision regarding the interest rate 

🔥 A recent transaction uncovered by Arkham Intelligence revealed that 10,000 bitcoins, linked to the Silk Road, have been moved to Coinbase Prime. Arkham shared on X that these bitcoins, worth $593.5 million, were transferred from a U.S. government wallet to a Coinbase Prime deposit wallet. The transaction was executed with a fee of 6.28 satoshis per virtual byte (sat/vB), slightly above the current priority transfer rate of 6 sat/vB.
