Eligible Receiver

You don't need to be a football fan to understand this truth: the mere fact that we're living and breathing makes us "eligible receivers" of God's mercy and love. The entirety of the Gospel is centered around God offering us the gift of salvation, free of charge. Instead of trying so hard to pay for it ourselves, we simply need to open our hands and receive.
