Daniel Massieh, previously named Mohammed Kamel, was born into an Egyptian Muslim family. As a devout Muslim, he was convinced that all Christians were sinners who lived wild, immoral lives. Curious about it, he decided to visit a Christian church where, instead of seeing immoral things, he found Jesus Christ! He was then ostracized by his family and imprisoned eight months by the government for trying to proselytize Muslims to faith in Christ. After his release he immigrated to the U.S. and founded "Open the Gates"--a ministry that informs people about the truth of Islam and reaches out to Muslims with the love of Jesus.
