AKA how I finally blew past my $20K-$30K cash months plateau.
If you have ever been at an āincome plateauā you knooooowwww the pain.
Even when youāre making more than people around you. More than your dad. More than your friends.
(You shouldnāt be complaining, right??)
I was at $20K-$30K cash months for years. YEARS.
I was so proud of my comfy, stable business.
No rollercoasters for this Virgo, thank you very much.
But in my headā¦ I was annoyed.
It felt like something was going wrong.
And while, yes, I had been working on cutting my working hours so I only needed to work 20 hours a week max.
I wanted to be making more.
And Iām a powerful witch, so what the actual fuck??
When I was honest with myself ā My āplateauā really came from comfort. I was reaaallllllyyyy comfortable where I was.
P.S. thereās nothing wrong with having a comfortable business with steady revenue!! This message is for those whose souls are nudging them to more.
(This is also where SEASONS come in. Are you in a comfy rest season, or are you in a GROWTH season?)
I remember the FIRE I had when I was scaling from $3500/mo > $10,000/mo > $20,000/mo
I did it so quickly because I was MOTIVATED by the MONEY.
(And as anti-capitalist, anti-colonization, leftist-leaning folks, it can be so fucking hard to admit that)
I 10xād my revenue bc I was willing. To work. For the money.
Well, what about now? Now that things feel so comfy and easy??
I had to actually work for it.
Okay, before youāre like WTF I thought you were anti-hustle???? š
IāM NOT TALKING ABOUT WORKING CRAZY HOURS OR HUSTLING!
Iām talking about actually trying. Actually doing the things I knew worked. Not being lazy about it, just bc I could be lazy + be more than fine.
I thought back to the last time I had a major income leap ā what caused it??
For me it was:
1. Having mentorship & community keeping me accountable to my desires
2. Identifying and DOING the 10% of actions that I knew actually mattered
3. Daily mindset work
#2 above changed from my original income leap to my more recent one š
Before, cold pitching people I wanted to work with was my 10% action that mattered.
But now?
Now, itās daily writing & daily selling. Even when I donāt feel like it and ā1 day doesnāt matterā
Itās creating the free training, even when the launch will probably have good sales if I donāt.
Itās sharing details about myself and my business that would feel WAY SAFER to be quiet about.
Itās asking myself āWhat would actually *going for it* look like?ā & answering honestly.
What if you actually went for it?
Iām not talking working crazy hours or hustling.
I mean, likeā¦ you *actually* tried.
(Come on, I know how smart and magical you are, youāre only like 50% trying right now.)
