To surrender to Christ is to allow for Him to take you by the hand and let Him lead you through the valley of death into life, which is a free gift. God keeps his promises. You only need to take a look at Genesis 9:13 to see the truth of it. He has promised to free you and save you when you repent and trust in Him.
