Torque Metals Ltd (ASX:TOR) managing director Cristian Moreno joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss initial diamond drill results from the Paris Gold Project in the Western Australian Goldfields, which yielded a standout intersection of 22.15 metres at 12.14 g/t gold from 188.27 metres.
The results from the recently completed 1,105-metre diamond drill program indicate that mineralisation extends up dip into shallower zones. Notable results within the 22.15-metre intersection are 2.15 metres at 16.79 g/t and 2.7 metres at 82.45 g/t.
These results have bolstered the company's optimism as it continues with a 7,000-metre reverse circulation (RC) drill program aimed at expanding the high-grade mineralised zone west of the Paris prospect. Although the new drill data will not be included in the upcoming maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE) for the Paris project, expected in the coming weeks, they suggest strong potential for future resource growth.
Torque's ongoing RC drilling, guided by structural insights from the diamond drilling, aims to enhance the shallow gold inventory. The Paris Gold Project, located near processing infrastructure and surrounded by major producers, is well-positioned for development.
