Lake Lanier is a man-made reservoir in the northern part of Georgia. It's one of the state's biggest tourist attractions, drawing in millions of visitors each year. But Lake Lanier also has a sinister reputation for being or cursed. Since the lake was formed in the 1950s, more than 700 people have either drowned or vanished entirely in the lake. In this episode I dive into the lake's dark and tragic history.
