Land trust hopes to build affordable housing in the Cogswell District
In the 1950s, African Nova Scotians were displaced when buildings in the Cogswell area were razed. Now that the 16-acre area is being redeveloped, an African Nova Scotian land trust is calling on HRM to help build affordable housing in the Cogswell District as a way to redress past wrongs.
