American Rare Earths CEO Chris Gibbs joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce the first assay results from the company's 2024 drilling campaign at the Cowboy State Mine area. The results, provided by ALS Global, cover 756 samples from 11 core and reverse circulation holes, along with one partial hole. Following the conclusion of drilling, the final drill hole locations were surveyed, and geophysical logs were collected for each drill. Acoustic televiewer logs were also gathered in seven core holes.
Gibbs highlighted that drill hole HC24-RM035 exhibited an average grade of 4,393 ppm Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO) over the entire 299.1-meter length. Similarly, drill hole HC24-RM023 revealed an average TREO grade of 4,006 ppm across 117.5 meters. These findings suggest that the deposit remains open at depth, extending well into Red Mountain.
Moreover, WRI geologists have prepared and sent 54 core samples to WSP for geomechanical analysis, further enhancing the understanding of this significant deposit. These promising results indicate that the sheer size and scale of the deposit continue to grow, with the deposit remaining open from the surface to depths of at least 300 meters.
