Dr. Dan Engle joined us on today's show to talk about his new book called The Concussion Repair Manual.
I didn't realize how many people have concussions these days. But what do you do after a concussion? What are the top signs of a concussion? How do you even know if you have a concussion?
Did you know that it's possible to get a concussion from something as simple as heading a soccer ball while on the field? Did you know that women are more susceptible to getting concussions?
Something I didn't know was that there are more concussions in hockey than in any other sport. I would have though boxing or MMA fighters would have been top on the list (with boxers coming in ahead of MMA fighters because they generally *only* hit in the head) with football players coming in second.
But I was wrong, hockey is even more dangerous when it comes to head trauma and head injuries.
Modern conventional allopathic medicine doesn't have much to offer in terms of head injuries. Maybe just avoid alcohol, get some rest and make sure to drink water.
That doesn't give somebody much hope, especially if they have multiple head injuries or multiple concussions.
What is a concussion? Is it simply a bruising of the brain? Or is there more going on? What about the connective tissues that hold the brain and spine in place? Is it possible these tissues could be torn or damaged with violent head injuries like whiplash or concussions?
Dr. Dan Engle covers everything in this interview about what to do after a concussion.
We talk about...
1. The foods you should eat AND foods to avoid after a concussion.
2. How grounding the body can help speed the healing process
3. The role PEMF plays in healing
4. How sound and light can effect the brain
5. Why certain frequencies can speed the healing process
6. What supplements you should start taking immediately
7. How chiropractic can aid the brain
8. How hyperbaric oxygen therapy decreases healing time
9. And much more!
I've never heard a more exhaustive approach to healing concussions naturally than what Dr. Engle puts forth in this show. He really leaves no stone unturned.
Lots of healers talk about one aspect of health and healing but Dr. Dan Engle shares every level from cold laser therapy to energy healing all the way to diet, exercise, light exposure and so much more.
If you know of anybody currently dealing with acute head trauma or a full blown concussion make sure to send them this link so they can hear this show!
